SearX, is an open source, hackable metasearch engine which aggregate’s the results of other search engines, while also declining to store information about its users.
SearX, created by Adam Tauber, is inspired by the seeks project. It provides basic privacy by mixing your queries with searches on other platforms without storing search data. Because queries are made using a POST request, they do not show up in either SearX’s logs or your URL history.
SearX is available online and on Linux.
