MantisBT is an open source bug tracker that provides a delicate balance between simplicity and power. It is web-based, written in PHP scripting language, and works with MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
Mantis is a database of bug reports with a front end that facilitates actions such as filing new bug reports, changing the state to reflect the progress of the work done to address the bug, and generating reports on the bug data.
MantisBT can be installed on Windows, Linux, Mac OS, OS/2, and other servers. Almost any web browser should be able to function as a client.
