OpenShot is a open source video editing program with many powerful features. The program’s use of FFmpeg means it’s able to properly handle many different video, audio, and image formats.
OpenShot’s core video editing functionality is implemented in a C++ library, libopenshot. OpenShot uses the Qt toolkit and offers a Python API.
OpenShot supports the following operating systems: Linux, Windows, and OS X. Project files are also cross-platform, meaning you can save a video project in one OS, and open it on another. All OpenShot features are available on all platforms.
