MakeHuman is a free, open source, interactive modeling tool for creating custom 3D human characters.
MakeHuman is specifically designed for the modeling of virtual humans, with a simple and complete pose system that includes the simulation of muscular movement. Sliders with common parameters—like height, weight, gender, ethnicity, and muscularity—allow the user to access and easily handle hundreds of human shapes using a very simple GUI.
Features that make this software unique include the tetra-parametric GUI and the Natural Pose System, for advanced muscular simulation.
